relay to add another.

GORHAM ATHLETES QUALIFY FOR THE STATE MEET
July 31, 2008
The athletes
competed at peak levels on an overcast day
that provided athletes with a break from the
scorching heat that usually beats down on
the Summer Youth Track Meets. Gorham fared
very well with the top four finishers from
each event qualifying for the State
Championship meet on Saturday August 9 in
Augusta.

GORHAM HOSTS SUMMER TRACK AND FIELD MEET
July 25, 2008
The final
regular season meet of the summer youth
track and field meet was held on Friday July
25, 2008 at Gorham High School. The meet was
originally scheduled for Thursday July 24
but was pushed back due to severe thunder
storms in the area.

held in Windham on Thursday July 17, 2008.

The third week
of the summer youth track season took place
at Kennebunk High School on Thursday July
10, 2008. Fortunately the heat broke late
Wednesday and the cool breeze made the meet
comfortable.

two of its summer season. Gorham athletes
performed well in the heat at Thornton
Academy in Saco.
